I was following the MS Deployment Checklist, and just added a DigCert to our
new 2010 CAS server. All we have in place (for 2010) is that machine, which
has CAS HUB roles.
ALL inbound mail is now queueing on our 2007 Edge server. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Hi all,
Is anyone using messagelabs policy based encryption?
Any good/bad experiences with it?

Yes - -that's when mailflow stopped - when I added SMTP as a service.

You shouldn't have to do this if you just upgrade the HT cert but you may
need to redo your edge subscription.
In Ex2k7 sp1 you only needed to do that if you updated the cert on the edge
but it may not be the same for e14.
I'd have to test in my lab but it may be quicker for you to just redo the
John - working on the root cert, Tom - we have rebuild the Edge Subscript.
Thanks much you guys!

In olk2k3 we set the default sharing to reviewer thus any one can see others
calendars. We consider the calendar like email to be a company resource. If
users want to add personal events, they can still make the event private.
Delegates can be a huge PITA.
It seems to me this has been asked and answered, but I can't find anything in

I have Payette's book, and it is excellent.
You might want to wait a bit for the 2nd edition, which is being written for

I wouldn't say that there is one.
Ilse's book (which was otherwise recommended) is good - but it's not a basic

it (notably, it doesn't cover the *-ExchangeCertificate cmdlets). But it's a
good book.

Agreed on the delegates, we have numerous calendar issues, 99% of them are
folks with delegates *and* multiple devices. Also these same folks use

The challenging thing about Payette, is EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE can matter. For
example, in v1, he makes what seems an off-handed comment - in chapter 2.3.1 no

I looked at Message Labs last year and I believe they use a 3rd party ZixCorp

I think it's kind of a clue about his writing philosophy that the book starts

I misspoke - we didn't telnet back forth between two servers, we telnetted
from the Edge to the Hub, and then on the hub we telnetted to localhost, and
saw different SMTP verbs after ehlo. That was the clue that we had a

Just like for exmerge - you need to create an account that has access to all
Exchange mailboxes but is not a member of any protected account.
The protected account limitation does not apply to public folders.
