I modified Trend to only scan when files were created or modified, not
retrieved, and knocked 6+ hours off my backup times.

The question I have, and was hoping
I have six Macintosh users that share a mailbox (as well as having personal
mailboxes). The shared mailbox is under the username mac.
They have been connecting fine for over 2 years using Mac's Mail application
and IMAP connections.
Today, IMAP login for the user account mac is being refused.
I have no idea why this would seemingly magically start happening, but
you say you have 6 users accessing the same mail box; each user can
have more than one connection to mailbox so at 3 connections each they
would exceed the default of 16, did raising this number solve the
issue?
