I've just been on the phone to PSS, and of course everything worked perfectly
during my I can reproduce this problem at will demonstration. The support
engineer is pinning this issue on AD replication delays, but I'm not 100%
convinced.
Anyway, I hope this is of help to anyone!

You are looking for an SAN SSL cert. These certs have a Subject
Alternative Name field in them which allows you to specify additional
FQDNs for the box. So you (I imagine) like us host multiple domains
and users at domain 1 access OWA via https://ex.domain1.com/owa and
users in domain 2 access OWA
The cheapest is probably certificatesforexchange.com, which is a godaddy
reseller.
Lots of folks also go to Digicert.

Which server is that tracking log taken from?
In its case, it transmitted the message twice because it received the message
twice.

This tracking log is from the ET server.
If I search on the mailbox server the message is send once to the HT server:

However, when I look at the HubTranport server, I notice that the message is
received once but sended twice to the EdgeTransport server:
Did you have any outages on your edge server(s)?

Just figured I'd post back on our resolution to OOF not working in
Outlook, after we outsourced email to RackSpace.
We had to create a CNAME record for auto-discover in the local domain,
pointing to RackSpace.
Guess this record is not necessary when AD and Exchange are in the same

I am trying to modify settings of users in a group, I would like to run
something like
$GroupMem = Get-Group Name_Of_Group
ForEach ($_.Member in $GroupMem)
Do something
Only problem is Member is a multi valued attribute that includes all the
individual members.
this should work, it will give you the users DN
$GroupMem = (Get-Group Name_Of_Group).members | select DistinguishedName
ForEach ($Member in $GroupMem){
Do something
}

Hi,
They're probably asking for your LegacyExchangeDN, which will be added as an
X500 address for the object in their own AD so the users can reply to old mails

Hi,
It's an AD attibute (Legacy Exchange Distinguished Name from the 5.5 days) so
you need to dump it out if it's a considerable number of users or use adsiedit
if it's one or two
everyone should have csvde so something like
CSVDE -f fileout.csv -r ((objectcategory=person)(mail=*)) -l
If you're doing multiple groups, you may want to do this:
$GroupMem = @((Get-Group Name_Of_Group).members | select DistinguishedName)
ForEach ($Member in $GroupMem){
Do something
}
Otherwise, if it encounters a group with just one member it's not going to be
happy.

You might want to look at the proxyAddresses attribute too J
This is still being used by Outlook, for the AutoComplete feature so you still
need it.
