You cannot run Exchange 2003 on Windows 2008 of any flavour. You can only run Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003, and it must be 32 bit. If you want to use 64 bit windows then you will have to move to 64 bit Exchange, which would be at least Exchange 2007, but preferably Exchange 2010. Another

You can address item [1] by hard coding the netlogon SiteName. This is a Windows problem at its core. Exchange MAY end up coding around it, but they expect (hope) Windows will address it. Both teams are certainly aware of this problem. I've not seen item [2] or heard it discussed. My initial

Unless you are a very large organization, I wouldn't move from 2007 - 2010 for improved performance. It's unlikely (on properly sized servers) that performance changes would be visible. I would move for things like OWA-multi-browser capabilities, the Exchange Control Panel (ECP), more

A mailbox server can host more than a single DATABASE, but a mailbox server can be a MEMBER of only a single DAG. From an implementation perspective, a DAG is a windows failover cluster, with added special sauce. A server can only be a member of a single failover cluster. Regards, Michael B.
