Nokia E series phones with SAN certificates?

2011-05-25 Thread Paul Hutchings
It appears that Nokia E series phones (tested E61 so far) don't like wildcard SSL certificates in that they will work with them but give a warning about a name mismatch which the user has to override either per session or permanently. We have quite a lot of Nokia's so I'm keen to use a cert

Thanks John, doubtless that would work as I think we did that in the past, but we now have quite a lot of these things and they're all standalone, so ideally I want to use a cert that they will just accept with no messing needed. From: Ellis, John P. [mailto:johnel...@wirral.gov.uk] Sent: 25

The reason why I suggested it is because we have WM devices that use Push Email(Exchange) and we had issues with a Wildcard DigiCert and we had to install the CA cert on the device and this solved the issues. Unless there is a Nokia update that updates the root certs? John
