Exchange 5.5 - multiple organisations
I've set up some Outlook forms for our HR dept. so people can send holiday
requests and suchlike in a standard format. To make the forms work, I have
to set Exchange to send in RTF format - otherwise the form doesn't get to
the recipient.
However, setting Exch
At the site level, 'Everyone' has View Only Admin, but below that there
are only the normal service accounts.
On further investigation though, the problem is even worse. It would seem
that any user can view any other user's mailbox data, even mailboxes where
no delegate permissions have been set.
I've got an Outlook 2000 client on which the user has given Author
permission as the default on his calendar, but the permissions on all
other folders in the mailbox are set to None. However, every other user is
able to open ANY folder in his mailbox.
I've deleted his Outlook profile and recreated
We have two Exchange 5.5 SP3 servers in different domains, one on NT4 and
one on 2000 Server (don't ask why, way too complicated & political). Users
homed on the 2000 server now need access to calendars on the NT server.
The 2000 server is NOT a domain controller. The two domains have a 100Meg
LAN
