Outlook has a local
"autocomplete" feature. Outlook 2002 in the Office XP suite is
particularly bad about this. This is coming from the desktop, not an address
list.

private Public Folder. They can offload some mail there. That will load

The question is lacking in details. How are you authenticating? Is your
dial-up authentication also authenticating you into the domain? If not have
you set your Outlook profile to prompt you for authentication when you
connect to Exchange? Assuming you are actually connected and TCP/IP is good
integrated zones) you can/will have multipe NS records in the
delegation.
