I see between 50% and 100% overhead at most of my medium-to-large clients;
depending on whether they use PFs or SharePoint for shared calendars or they
use resource mailboxes.
Making that kind of change (and what it would cost to change) is a typical
piece of the in-source vs. out-source discus
IIRC, last time I checked, we had over 4k employees and somewhere in the
ballpark of 6k mailboxes.
Haven't found time to scour for unnecessary MBs, but I bet there's a
"few" out there.
