Like Troy said, what have you actually done so far? How are you
replicating, etc?

Ok, just checked the AV, and funny thing the AV is disabled on the old
server and there is nothing trapped by the new server.

That has nothing to do with sp1/sp2/whatever. Public folders have always
been that way. PF replication is black magic.

When you say the public folders don't appear in AD, do you mean that
they are not seen in the Microsoft Exchange System Objects container in
ADUC? You'll need to select View / Advanced Features to see this
container. They need to be represented here in AD
first.
