Good idea. ;)

WindowMaker 0.60.0 and postfix 19990601 RPMS and SRPMS are available for

Hi,
Has anyone running the 2.2.9-19mdksmp kernel has problems installing
VMWare 1.0? When trying to install it says that the kernel source tree
is for the non-smp kernel. It looks like that kernel that was compiled
in that source tree was the 2.2.9-19mdk kernel and when you try to

Hi
I installed mandrake 6.0 some day ago.
I have some problems with postgresql.
There seems to be missing some files from
/var/lib/pgsql/
Can anybody confirm that ??
I also have a problem that netcape can't locate localhost.
Is that fixed with the netscape 4.51 install ???

Also since the Turkish fonts are not contained in the kbd package, the
Turkish installation is messy, too.. We're looking forward to see the
correct Turkish fonts in the upcoming release.
Thank you for such a nice distribution.

Won't work - cd /usr/src/linux ; make menuconfig will.
Right, If I knew the options that the kernel and modules were build with,
I've attached the .config file to this message. You can also get it from
the kernel SRPM, if you have the sources.
I did a complete reformat and install of M6 and must say, what works
looks good. Problem is no sound (SBAWE 64), no scsi card (sym53c416).
Both of these worked fine in M5.3. I have upgraed the init scripts and
kernel which has changed nothing. Has any one run accross a fix for
this behavior?

FYI: NVidia has released an X server that supports OpenGL mode on the
TNT/TNT2/Vanta family of video cards. It's classified as a "development"
package.
I've tried this package and it does work. Quake 1 and 2 both work in
windowed mode in GL - I couldn't get any fullscreen modes to work properly.
