I'm trying to install Mandrake 6 on a laptop but it crashes every time
at the mouse probing stage. It says 'probing found some type of PS/2 on
port ps aux' then hangs and can only be restarted with a hard reset.

the package, some files are missing (*sigh*).
Version 6.5 is supposed to be out since yesterday, but all I see is a
