[expert] 2.2.17 Kernel - Automount Feature Missing

I just compiled Kernel 2.2.17 and found that xconfig had some features grayed out (like some network cards). Also, despite selecting "automount", it still won't handle supermount. Am I missing a step somewhere or is this kernel have those problems? Brent ___

Hello All, I just switched over from the crappy OpenSound commercial sound driver to the ALSA sounddriver for my Yamaha PCI soundcard. The only problem now is that MpegTV tells me "Cannot Play Audio: Broken Pipe". Have any of you had success with getting MpegTV to work with ALSA? Thanks, Brent
