Nopostfix is over an order of magnitude faster than sendmail
NoPostfix is far more secure and a hell of a lot easier to configure
than sendmail
As an anecdotal note, at the ISP I used to work for we replaced 5 Sparc
Ultra 2 mail servers running sendmail with one very lightly configed
I know we can do a LOT with software, but there's this little problem
of getting the bits across to the PSTN 'network' that will require at
least a little hardware ;-)
PSTN doesn't use "bits". It's an analog network
Actually that's not true any more. It's only analog for the last mile,
It's Novell GroupWise's autoreply going berserk, if you look at the
headers you can see it.

It depends, I liked it, but after playing with the M15 build that came out
the other day I think I prefer M15 to N6PR1. They are both very close to
being "good enough" to replace 4.72 as my only browser though. YMMV
though.the builds before N6PR1 and M15 were not very stable on my
Actually, the mozilla project is not being touched by AOL, they are taking
the code to make Netscape 6 from it...but the code for mozilla will still
be available. I have been playing with the various builds of mozilla since
the M8 build(the m15 build came out tonight).
I have also tested out
Your thinking of the LPI (www.lpi.org). They just started their
certification program. The tests are built and ready to go.

Nope, it's NOT the internal modem, when I bought the laptop I specifically
told them to leave the modem OUT. The one I am having a problem with is a
Xircom Realport card..it's the Card that is a 10/100 Nic and a modem in
a Type III PCMCIA card.
