In KDE 3.05a, how do I enable windows key ?
I have set up US English keymap with pc-104 variant and my windows keys do not work.
So I can't bring up k-menu at current cursor location by pressing windows key.
I have other keyboard layouts enabled for other other languages.

I have mandrake 9.0.
It's up-to-date.
I have both libqt3-3.0.5-7mdk and libqt3-devel-3.0.5-7mdk installed.
Now whenever I try to complile an app with QT I get:
"/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lqt" I have variable QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt3

Are you trying to configure the scanner or modify scannerdrake to support a
scanner it doesn't already? If you want the latter, I would suggest the
Cooker list. You may want to download the source for scannerdrake if you
seriously want to tweak it.
If you just want your scanner to work, ditc
(you can't feed
the output of badblocks to fsck). Read the fsck manpage for more info.

You might want to try accessing it with /dev/ide/host0/bus1/target0/lun0/part.

you keeping your old home directory. KDE may not like
the fact that its config directory is the one from KDE2. I would suggest
moving ~/.kde somewhere else, and letting it create a new one, and then copy
anything you need over there.

the same time? Typically, you need to either install, remove, or update the
programs, not do all 3 at the same time. The old interface was incredibly
confusing and slow; the new one is much better in my opinion.

Try to use timeconfig (or timeconf, I don't remember exactly ;) utility and
set your real timezone. This utility recreates /etc/localtime file which
your time depend on.
