I just installed development workstation & d/l the latest ssh package &
installed it. I had been having problems w/ the default ssh client
installed when trying to use scp, I'd get ssh1->ssh2 errors...

I suspect your problem is that you are using different refresh rates
between the 2 OS. Make them the same & that should fix your problem.

states that certain PCI slots share resources with the hpt controller. You

Unless you chose the "server" install, by default Mandrake doesn't
install the telnet server. Or any servers for that matter.

psu. Quick check, stick your hand in front of the fan, if it's blowing
warm air it's working:) CPU fans aften fail, esp. the cheaper ones. If
you think it's heat related, check *all* the fans.

a hardware problem as
opposed to software. I've seen stuff like that before, & he
cleaned/PM'd the machine, or replaced the drum(?). And we've had
problems with that kind of problem specifically w/ the Okipage 10e's, as
a few of our customers have them onsite.
