Is there a patched boot disk image with this driver available that will allow
me to install 9.1 on system with a Tyan S7469UGH (thunder K7 pro) mb? I'm a
bit surprised that 9.1 doesn't support this given that the adaptec aic7902
chip set has been out since late last year.

I have been trying to get iptables set up on my gateway machine, but it isn't
working like I think it should. I have the following entry in the
rc.firewall script to block incoming SYN packets:

IPTABLES="//sbin/iptables"
$IPTABLES -A INPUT -i $EXT_IF -p tcp ! --syn -j ACCEPT

don't stick. In particular, changing 'Show Users' to 'None'. After a
couple of login cycles this reverts back to 'All but no show'. I've
seen this same bahavior on three separate installations of MDK8.2 all
clean installs

Has anyone successfully installed this scanner? I checked the mandrake
hardware compatibility list and it's not listed as either supported or
unsupported. So far I have been unsuccessful in getting it recognized as a
USB scanner. The sane frontend/backend/xsane packages are all installed and

Rpmdrake seems to have lost the CD media entries for package installation.
This happened after I added media for mandrake club. How can I get them
back? Do I have to add them from scratch?
