What is a good IRC client to use with Mandrake 7? I'm looking for a good
console one and a X one. I know I have BitchX installed, but cannot find
the documentation for it anywhere. In fact, this would be my first foray
into IRC ever...

As per the instructions during installation I create a different or new user

If I make changes to the hosts.allow and hosts.deny files, do I have to
rebbot for these changes to take effect or is there a service (such as
INETD) that I need to kill and re-start?

I have a box running Mandrake 7 hooked up to the internet through US West
DSL, and it's also hooked up through a second NIC card to a box running
Win98. Everything works as expected by using Linux box as a router allowing
me to surf the web through either the Win98 box and the Linux box.
The pro
I'm running Mandrake version 7, and the Apache web server is installed, and
the httpd services are running. However, when I open a browser or lynx and
try to go to localhost, it says the HTPP request is sent, but then it just
sits there... what else am I missing? It is Apache version 1.3.9, run

in my hosts.allow file, and tried to ftp from the Win98 box and I get:
