Hi, I just wanted to say thanks, your solution worked. I had picked to install VNC server, and I didn't disable it when I was asked what services were to run at boot-up. I'll look in the documentation about how to set up the server, so that I can have it start at boot-time. Thanks for your hel

Seems like you are using an old BX chipset motherboard too. Wonder if it is a Asus motherboard. My P2B-S had a simliar symptom too. 7.2 worked fine, upgrading to 8.0 was fine. But fully reinstall, tons of problems. First 8.0 CD-Rom could not boot at all. Second 8.0 Floppy could boot, but hang u

I have tried three times to install 8.0 on a box that previously ran 7.2. The only difference is that I am installing to the second IDE harddrive instead of the first, nothing else has changed. Here is what my system looks like: Dell PII-450 20 GB Quantum HD RIVA 128 TNT Video Card 128 MB Ram L
