As I reported to the list about two weeks ago, thanks to Ramon Gandia, I
found out that I didn't need to use either fetchmail or sendmail to
configure PINE. You need only to confiugre the .pinerc file that is
created the first time you launch PINE. Once again, here is my copy of
.pin

No, I configured Fetchmailconf as user, not as root.
