Hi,
I have a machine with two soundcards
I seem to get sound mainly though the motherboard soundcard
and occasionally through the sound blaster.
How do I force all sound to go through the sound blaster
I tried changing the symlink /dev/dsp from
/dev/sound/dsp to /dev/sound/dsp1
and that got most

Your bios should have an option to disable the on-board sound, or there may
be a j

can't you set it in "/etc/modules.conf" ?
(i.e. if you have these 2 lines :
alias sound-slot-0 ...
alias sound-slot-1 ...
you only have to swap 0 and 1)
