if you have working XF86Config files for both ( /etc/X11/XF86Config and
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4)
then just change the symlink that is /etc/X11/X t

Is there any simple easy way to allow switching of the X server
in Mandrake 7.1 from 3.3.6 to 4.0 and back again?
