3C905B what? There are a number of these, and I don't really know the
difference.The most recent ones I've bought personally are
3C905B/TX(something) and they work

for what it's worth I am using a variety of 3com 3c905 (ISA as well as PCI)
cards with great success under LM 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2.
I did have to set the cards (some at least) to plug n play = off and also set
them to the IRQ I wanted to use.
I used the dos utility from 3com's web site

Mandrakes stuff and made a little
shell(pcistuff).
