This is probably my biggest problem with Mdk 8.0.
I don't know much about libraries, but almost EVERY package that I like to
use seems to need the libstdc++-lib6.1-2.so.3. But, this has been
replaced with a newer package. Here is the output from trying to meet the
dependencies.

You might try symlinking from whatever you really have to that and see
if it works.

It is in libstdc++ rpm
For Mandrake 7.0 it is in libstdc++-2.95.2-3mdk.i586.rpm
