You only have one ip address through your cable modem. Therefore, you can't use 2 ip addresses on your machine that are in the same ip addressing scheme as the cable modem ip address. Enable masquerading, and give yourself a 10.0.0.x or a 172.16.1.x or a 192.168.1.x address pool. Then enabl
