different mirrors and I get the same error message.
Does the checksum match? 8-?

I ran a checksum program (windows version) and it said
it matched for Beta 4 cd #1.
I also had downloaded a beta 3 iso and tried it this
weekend and it had the same error Bad Package for
Xfree.

Then I'd suggest you to burn it

Graphics chip On-board S3 Twister
The installation for both Beta 3 and 4 have the same
error message. Downloaded from different mirrors, and
burned the ISOs to many different CDs.
