For what it is worth. I have the Hauppauge Win-TV/radio, and it worked great in Mandrake 7.1, however I am still unable to get it to work in 7.2. Even with all the tips I had. I don't think it is a much a kernel issue as it is in the change from conf.modules to modules.conf, but the bt878

I am using Hauppauge Wintv Go BT 878 and it works great with both picture and sound. If you are not getting sound .. then try using the audio mixer program and turn up the line input setting .. the Kwintv shipped with mandrake 7.2 doesn't have sound mixer enabled in it .. try Kwintv 0.8.5 ..
