I use the autostart - have a link to ssh-add in it. Do not remove it -
Autostart is very handy for programs which need to start at login, but
do not run at logout.
I am not sure about the templates
Sergiopersonally I kinda like the trash can on the desktop because
you can drag stuff into it, whereas the other mentioned icons don't
operate in quite that way, so are not particularly handy being on the
desktop IMHO.

I don't currently use them YET, but I can foresee at least the need for the
Autostart. I don't have a clue however what you'd use the Templa

Look inside the folders in Autostart and you will find lots
of icons for applications that are not on your desktop.
Like to have one or more on the desktop?
Drab it from autostart to the desktop and select "Copy"
from the window that pops up. Now it's ready to use with one click.

Autostart
You can put any kdelnk or executable in Autostart
I am not an expert user. However, I would gladly support any useful
desktop funtion that makes the learning curve less painful-especially if
it works. :-) As Mandrake is stable and performs nicely, I hope future
*improvements* are acutal improvements that work correctly the first
time in a real wo

(see below). It appears that my kde-oracle does not know everything
after all .-)
Nevertheless, this is a GoodNews(tm). Now if only netscape would fix their
paths...
