I am trying to connect to my Linux box from my Win98 machine. Basically, I have a fresh install of Linux on my box, got it all networked up. I can successfully display single windows, such as running xterm or kfm on my Windows machine (using a different X Window system on my Win machine - namely

i have the same configuration here - on the linux side you need to have "xdm" running - that means start at runlevel 5 (in /etc/inittab or "telinit 5") - on the windows (X-win32) side you simply start an XDMCP session and X-win32 should find your linux server - after you confirm the selection of
