imo would probably be shot down in Ct by persons or organs trying to trademark
the term since so many parties have already gotten into it. Thus, it's a
common term that probably can't be trademark, more descriptive of a practice in
a historical context rather than something specific to an organ

Trademarking often is used as a barrier to entry. Like happened in effect with
‘re-certification’ in signing of trademark and business agreements within TM
