Ben, For #2, for any that have not already seen it, it may be helpful to refer to Argo, Stanford's (Hydra-based) Fedora admin client. Michael Klein did an excellent screencast of Argo in action in July of 2012; since then, Jon Deering has extended the application to include data stream editing.
