Disabling caching, generating the UI pages or certainly the publiclist
pages takes _forever_, hundreds of thousands of small DB queries.

In controller.py, Site.update() calls site.sync() at the end of the
update call, and the next call will be to Site.get() which should have
the new value you'd think.

Fedora Mirror Wrangler, and one who doesn't want to see the fallout of
knocking redhat.com offline for a week again...
re starting to use this query to populate their own rsync
ACLs. It's not critical that it go in before F9 launch, but I think
it's quite low-risk. I've tested it locally and it works as expected.
