aw, honey--
i am so sorry.
you know, tho, i've come to feel that they don't really take pieces of us
when they leave. we cry, for ourselves, for what we've missed--but it's
because of how much they've given us. and it seems that, once the first
horrid pain passes, i find out just how much of each
ah, you are right, of course--they are just used interchangeably so
often--even by vets--that i just compounded the error. oops.
if you go to the main site, www.felineleukemia.org, you'll find a link to
the archives, and there you will find us all immortalized in typescript!

On Sat, Mar 15,
I'm sorry to hear about Marley's passing. He sounds like a really
sweet guy. Thank you for all that you, and the other volunteers at
Sid's and Crash's, do. Take care.

Just to clarify, my vet said Bartonella and Hemobart
are not the same. I did the same thing and said
something about Hemobart and she corrected me that
they are positive for bartonella, not hemobart.
I thought this was just a mail list, not a message

I am so sorry about Marley . They teach us so much. You are so good to help
care for these babies. I know it takes a piece of you whwn they leave. I
also know they give you so much. Junior will be there for Marley.

Thanks,
This group is the reason Junior had the last year and a half. He thanks you
all for that. His quality of life was good up until that last day. Sure he
had his share of URI and the corneal ulcer, but all that was treatable. This
last thing while maybe treatable would have been very poor qua
Sherry, I will light a candle tonight in honor of your dear Marley. I'm so
sorry for your profound loss. I'm just so sad for all the losses experienced
lately. I sometimes wonder how we all can move on with such damage to our
hearts, but we do. Maybe we gain some kind of strength from the ex
oh, sally, i am so sorry to hear this news.
i don't really have anything to say that everyone else hasn't said already:
junior knew how much you loved him and fought for him, and i truly believe
that they don't mind the process involved with leaving this live nearly as
much as we do--i think they
check the archives, because it HAS been discussed--hemobart is one of those
things that seems to really be regional. one of my vets says that in the
past five years, a much higher than 50 percentage of cats in this area are
testing positive. are the tests just done more often? are they better tests
Bless you all for loving Marley and all the others.

Hi All,
I really haven't been very active on this group over
the past couple years so I'm not sure whether this has
been discussed or not. I have a young child in my
home and this year my vet recommended having my leuk
positive cats tested for Bartonella. They are seen
