Yes, Fred's was at 4.2 and get 100mls a day, his last bloodwork his
creat was at 3.5, so it is coming down. Kerry just an FYI, CRF kitties
should try and keep their phosphorus at 4 or under, Fred's was at 8 and
my vet told me this was normal (it is barely normal for a non CRF,
healthy cat).

Thanks guys for the info.. I think Inky doesn't tolerate sub-q fluids cause he is so tiny or something or maybe his heart..She didn't say anything about a heart murmur..so I just don't know why..I know he does very well on IV fluids as they let me bring him home each day after he was hooked up for
sub q is definitely better than drinking-- they get more fluids, I think,
and it flushes the kidneys better. When Josephine had renal lymphoma, the
sub q fluids really made her feel better.
I know it is hard to give them to very small or thin cats, though.
