Well our group of volunteers sort of stopped really counting after about
700. We're sort of a fast and furious mode as time marches on! HSUS says
they reunited a couple of hundred but most of those were owners who went to
the big receiving center at Lamar-Dixon.
Basically, there has never been
Wow! 700 is A LOT. More than I would have imagined.

We just got an email on my local rescue list saying there are still thousands of animals there needing to be fed and very few volunteers. They were begging people to come down. Evidently the major rescues have left.Do you know anything about that? And if we can't go down, what can we do at
