I have a couple pieces of felt I had made out of my own wool. These
were done on a mini-mills felting machine. Yes it had marks when it
initially came off of the machine - but they were completely gone once
the wool totally dried and relaxed. Neither piece I have has retained
any of those '

Thank you all for the responses. The two singles had been sitting on
the bobbins for a few days before I got around to plying them - going
to my 9-5 job really gets in the way of my fun sometimes:). In fact
they seem to be relaxing somewhat now. I was surprised as my yarns

The big Schacht that is sitting here in my studio has the breast beam
easily removable. The woman who owns this loom then removes the top of
the beater bar and the reed, pushes the beater forward (and actually
rests her wrists on the cross piece where you would normally set your
reed), sets her

another book that I had been searching for - I have been finding it
retail for $29.99 and through this site found it for $18. The postage
was only $1.54 so it was still a real deal. I have never had a problem

restaurant, pickles come in 5 gallon white plastic buckets with a
sealable lid and metal handle ... and they smell marvelously like dill
pickles for the longest time

I have not heard of a US certified program - but I am not the most
knowledgeable in this area. The judges we hire for the NH Sheep and
Wool Festival are simply long time sheep people with extensive
experience and knowledge. Our judge the last couple of years is a 30
year shearer and a wool shee
