The 2450 comes with three film holders. One handles 120 formats (up to 6x9 format, in film strips) and 4x5. The second handles mounted 35mm slides (2x2" mounts). The third handles 35mm negs or transparencies up to two strips of 6 frames in length. Many times I just drop my film or mounted transpa

I have scanned and printed formats from Minox 8x11mm to 6x6cm and even a couple of frames of 2.5x4.25" (616 format) with the 2450. I would deem it best suited to 645 and larger, but it does not do badly with small formats either. 13x19" prints from 645 negatives are breathtaking... Godfrey --

I have tried many different times to do negs on various flatbed scanners without a transparency unit and none of them made satisfactory scans. On the other hand, the Epson 2450 Photo scanner does a super job with 2400 ppi scans of up to 4x9 inch transparency/negatives. Well worth the money. Godf
