You might do well to look at the LS-30 Nikon. Since it's being replaced,
very good deals are becoming available on it, and it includes the infared
channel for "ICE" and I have seen refurbished units for $499, although I
have no experience with them. And right out of the box, it does incredible

I'm probably getting a film scanner next month. I've tentatively settled
on the Minolta Dimage Scan Dual II. I just thought I'd check in with this
list on this particular scanner, to see how well it's been received.
My application is scanning 35mm negatives, mostly color. What I like

Have the scan dual 11 am very satisfied with it but also have a problem with
the computer recegnizing the scanner. The only way that it will start up is
by turning it on and then dicconnecting the USB cable, and then reconnecting
it. or turning on the scanner before booting up the comp.
