I'm on OS9.1 & Mac Fin2k2b.
The last few days I've had some strange file naming/updating things
happening. When I do a "Save As..." I increment my file suffix
numbering eg ("xxx1.2" to "xxx1.3"). I moved the old file into an
archive folder.
The Finale window title bar updates to reflect the
TAKE ME OFF THIS LIST!!!

Apologies if this has been covered, but the last week or so I've been
getting dozens of digest versions of this list - some with only two
messages. What gives? Is there some way I can go back to the once a day
version?

You probably have all of the answers you need by now, but when I bought a
new iMac for my wife last year, Apple answered several such questions over

What I did before Fin2k2 for musica ficta was to define a small sharp
(flat, natural) as an articulation assigned to a number key. It was
easy just to hold down 7 (for example) and click the nøte. The ficta
sharp immediately appears in place. You can set the distance from the

I see that some people are having problems running finale in under
classic on OSX, though not always problems attributable to the OS or
finale. I've used it a few times (OSX 10.1.2, OS 9.1 on the same
partition as classic), and it worked okay except for MIDI. I could
edit some of my old scores,

Stupid Logitech is still not offering anything for OS X. I hate these
slow hardware manufacturers. My ForMac SCSI adapter isn't working

I think that the best way to have my printer produce scores is to have
him read my files rather than giving proofs from my printer (which is not
that high a resolution). He can download Finale NotePad and go from
there, or perhaps a better solution is for me to prepare .eps or .tiff
files

I'm on a Windoze 98 machine, with Finale 2002 running. Going to the
instrument list works, takes the chords out of the playback mode, but when
saving the file to a MIDI file, the chords play back in the MIDI file. How
annoying...

or merely a short section of a longer file.
If this is the only section of music in the file, then you can do what
you wish, but you will have to create a large number of groups, each one
containing the solo part and one i
