A tip for those using HP printers
Somewhere along the line, one of the updates to either OS X or the HP
print drivers broke my ability to print Finale files under classic with
my LaserJet 2200D. The activity light on the printer would start
flashing, and then I would get an unspecified Pos

Repartitioning isn't as bad as it sounds, if done carefully. I'd suggest a
copy of "System Commander" to facilitate multiple OS boots, and be sure to
use only FAT partitioning instead of NTFS for both partitions. This will
