You mention editing the percussion map so centre line b is a stemless slash and Bb is
a stemmed slash. How do you create a stemless slash when entering quarter notes?

If I were you I would do it the other way: input the parts ready for the
orchestral score, and then extract the parts using TGTools.
(I used to do it as you suggest but TGTools changed my life. My only need
now is my myopia operation... ;)

You could enter them both on one staff, using layers, which would make
part extraction easy.
If you don't want to do that, you can enter them on their separate
staves, using layers anyway.
Example:
flute 1 (staff 1, layer 1)
flute 2 (staff 2, layer 2)
oboe 1 (staff 3, layer 1)
oboe 2 (staff 4,

I have lap top and don’t have two numeric keypads.
When working with speed entry tool how can I step in notes. I’ve tried
all shift
, alt, caps combinations but only got rests in the bars. I wants triplets so that should be ctrl “3”
before.
