There is a MIDI input latency adjustment in Finale's MIDI Setup dialog. I'm
not sure if that helps. I have not found this type of behavior with
Hyperscribe, but the setup can indeed make a lot of difference. I agree
that it is faster and easier to use speedy entry in most cases.
