I'm on Mac and need the P-in-a-circle character (same as c in a circle,
except p) such as is needed for copyright notices on recorded products. I've
checked several fonts that I have and have concluded I probably don't have
one that has it. I don't think any of the Finale-sup

After seeing that more than one person got the same results to your
tie end problem, I tried it again. I see that I added - quite
unconsciously - an extra step. I have Finale 2003 set to open in Page
View. Ater applying the transposition to the measure 2, I pressed
Command-\ to upd

Yes indeed! Things such as stems without note heads, feathered beams,
note-heads to show pitch choices, cut-away scores, etc. are all
possible. You would probably have more trouble transcribing some of
Crumb's scores in Finale, though, esp
