Dang. Well, whoever you were who gave me that help,
I don't know about FinMAC2003a, but if you're on any WIN os after 98 thten
ATM (adobe type manager) is NOT used anymore. Installing it compounds
problems. Any version of Finale apparently needs a type manager which
post-98 os's do NOT use. Even setting version compatibility for the Finale
program

I don't understand why, after knowing about these problems for A VERY LONG
TIME, Finale developers have not yet found a way to dump data directly to
the Distiller
If I export EPS pages and have 'include fonts' checked, Finale does the
export then immediately closes. If I do not check 'include fonts' it does
not close.
(And of course the resulting files cannot be opened by GhostScript with the
fonts included but that is old news.)

I want to create some examples for my jazz students, and I need to enter
pitches into a measure without regard to rhythm. In other works, whole note,
whole note, quarter note head, whole note, etc. The note heads would be
graphic elements only. Is there a way to do this so that Finale

I can only get Finale to print thumbnails; or thumbnail PDFs. Is this a function of the registration restriction? Finale e-mailed the registration user code and the authorization code, and said if I had any problems to open the Registration Wizard. But
