Jari gossip. I was in Gothenberg in the Fall and had the good fortune of spending a nice leisurely breakfast with Jari. He and his wife were about to have a child. So this may explain why demands on his time may be pulling him away from Finale concerns.

WHATEVER you do, DON'T "upgrade" to WinME.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me. It looks like it's a Win98SE
problem and I'll have to do the vertical spacing by hand.
Next questions would be: are there any other Win98SE users who
experience the same chrash with JW Space Systems? Should I consider
updrading to Win2000? Or to WinME? Or
While linking didn't change for Windows plug-ins with Finale 2004, many
data structures changed from Finale 2003 to 2004. So it's quite possible
for a plug-in that worked on 2003 to not work on 2004 if it hasn't been
updated. It really depends on what the plug-in is doing and how it's
doing it. I d

Would you be willing to try out the JW's on a couple of my files on your

Unlike MacFin, the linkage for WinFin plugins did not change. Anyone who
has visited my download site will have noticed that there are two
downloads for MacFin whereas there is only one for WinFin.

To return to Barbara's original posting, though, I just ran through several
of Jari's plugins on Win2000 and Fin2004b with no problem, including Forza

The linkage for plugins changed for FinMac2004. Plugins for MacFin2003
and earlier will not work with MacFin2004 even in OS9. This is not an OS
issue. It was a change in how MacFin talks to plugins.

Yes, I know, I've already been doing that, sort of. But I have about 60
songs, kind of hymns I guess, and at least that much to come... Sigh...
