This happens to me occasionally when opening Finale 2.2 files in Finale 2000 onward. I still have lots of scores done in 2.2, and when I occasionally need to update something in them (or extract new parts), it means opening those old 2.2 files. I thought it might be something along these lines. I

I am editing some band parts that have been prepared by someone else. I've found some things in it that have been done quite oddly, as if the original operator were not very experienced with Finale. I just came across some measures in the piano part which have exceptionally long stems.
