Using WinFin2k4b (Win98se) I don't see such behavior. As the frame
moves to the next measure, the just-entered measure shows just as it should.

Quite often, a screen display problem can be the display driver itself.
I would go to the display card manufacturer's web site and download the
latest video driver for your card.

I'm using WinFin 2k4b with XP and have not had this occur at all. All entries show as they should. I don't think this one is a Finale bug unless I've just gotten really lucky with mine. Hopefully, someone else has some insight into this.
