page in Finale's website. Are these sheets bound for publication and
delivered at home or are they just downloadable .mus files?
Thanks

When I purchased the upgrade to Finale 2004 I phoned Finale's customer
service and they told me I could not buy the software from them and
should have to contact a local dealer.
Result: products ships a little later (it's ok for me, using Finale in

That will be nice for viewing. I always use Fit Width

In Canary Islands I pay the shipping, the special kind of VAT we have (5%)
and then the customs processing costs, normally 30 euros. (I guess than in
your case the VAT is something like 20%).
At the end is almost the same than buying it from a dealer, but at least you
have it sooner.

These are the published books/charts for the SmartMusic repertoire. For

I sent an e-mail to MM this morning, asking if a nasty bug from 2k4 was fixed. Below is my e-mail and their reply. Sounds like the bug is still not fixed. Also, in a move which underscores the no-bug-fix sound of the reply, the "click here to comment" link is broken.

Thanks, Jari -- very useful, as always.
In previous years, your reviews have pointed out nice features that Coda's
marketing missed which convinced me to buy the product. This year, it seems
from your write-up that Coda's advertising is unfortunately accurate.

Thanks muchly for that. Q: how does 2K5 handle grace notes at the end
of a measure (nachschlag)?

Jari, with great surprise and disappointment have I read in your review:
The only options I really miss here is that there is no way to
automatically specify extra spaces at the beginning/end of each staff
system.

MUCH better than Fin2004. In Fin2004, Finale doesn't add any extra
space at the end of the measure even if the nachschlag notes are
that many that they will collide with the main note before it.
