Most of the time I use layers, but there are times when "voices" work well. I like the advantage of adding a second voice above or below the existing voice when the divisi is short. You control the stem direction by the position of the cursor (insertion point). If it's below the original note,

Hi Owain, It's placing repeat marks, around Lutoslawski-esque fragments, that I wish I had more control over. I have both left and right repeat marks created as shape expression that I use for some of the aleatoric music that I work on. Gives me a little more flexibility in moving things around
