Yes, the manual says that you can make a horizontal slur, but what is that? A flat line? I think the manual is misleading, and that the horizontal setting applies only to cresc/dim. I should also add that I'd be happy to stand corrected if someone can ferret out what a horizontal slur is! -Carol
