there was a step by step example of using it. It is touched upon a
little in the tutorials, and the manual gives you all the raw info on
what it can do, but there seems to be a lot of room for more there.

In general, a wiki for Finale would be an EXCELLENT idea. Yet, the
online manual (PDF) generally has what I need in it, but the linked

There have been quite a few discussions about the vagaries of the new
linked parts in Finale 2007, and the various workarounds for its
limitations and inadequacies.
By any chance, is anyone logging these? Would someone be willing to put
up a wiki or something to which we could all contribute
Lately I've been working with Native Instruments AU within Finale. I
often get this error message: "Unhandled exception caught".
The dialog box invites me to press OK and then the program crashes
and quits. (Some choice, huh?)
I'm on a Mac (OS 10.4.7) with Finale 2006c. I believe the problem

No, the title and the blank page deleted.
Actually, you can re-add them, and they will inherit the textblocks from

Hmm, this explains some problems I had with 2007 for the first
project I attempted. I wanted to extract a piano-vocal from my score,
but I couldn't get it to happen, even after creating the proper
group. Obviously, the vocal line was named, as was the piano group,
so I guess this was holdin

Hi all,
I generated parts via Linked Part, FIN 2007 and found that they are set

Where are they from and how to change them?
Can they be set as system preference or doc

Thanks, Jean-Paul.
Too bad... Can one reinsert them in all parts in one go?
